This option partners a manager with a Merlin trader who provides value-added market intelligence, as well as access to derivatives, bulletin board stocks, algorithmic and pairs trading, and access to Bears Stearns international desk. Clients can also receive pre-market, sector, and intraday e-mail updates. The agency desk also has access to and uses daily:
- ECN's e.g. ARCA, INET, EDGX
- Dark pools
- NYSE & AMEX $ 2 brokers for floor looks and to work orders on the Primary Exchange
- Pre and Post Market trading ability beyond normal trading hours
- Pink sheet execution through a number of sell side market makers
- Derivative execution through floor access or electronic execution platforms
- Pre and post-trade analysis tools including portfolio breakdown analysis by industry, sector, capitalization, exchange, country, liquidity range
- Basket trading
